I will forever be grateful to Dr. Mafi for performing an amazing job on my breast implant issue. Around 2014, I had gone to another plastic surgeon whom I thought was the right one to perform my breast augmentation surgery. Boy was I wrong, SMH, not once but twice. The first time my breast implants began to drop after six years so I consulted with him and he promised to not only to reshape them, also to make them smaller since the first time he made them too big and didn't look right with my body size. The second time around, I didn't even notice the difference in size. They looked as same as the first time. I was so disappointed. Another disaster issue was that upon the second surgery, the corner of my right breast was constantly hurting but he kept telling me to massage it. "Really? That's your solution for messing up my breast?" He also left large scars under my breasts, and areola which never healed. This surgeon wouldn't even see his patients after the surgery, he had his PA to follow up. The PA only saw me once after the surgery and that was it. Not even a follow up phone call. SMH. I had enough of him and three years after the second disappointing surgery I had to find the right surgeon to fix the disasterous work of someone else. I did my deep and diligent research and luckly found Dr. MAFI. He passed my test. Please read his references and work experiences. 👌.
I made an appointment, met him and his lovely wife. I just wanted to have my breast implants removed and go back to my original B cup size again if possible. Dr. Mafi and his wife listened carefully to all my frustrations and issues and explained the procedure and all possibilities. However, they assured me that I would be happy with the end results. I had to do some pre-op procedures in order to be able to do the surgery. I saw Dr. Mafi and his staff three times prior to my surgery because they are absolutely concerned about the health of the patients to make sure they are in good health condition for the surgery. I mean how many doctors do that anymore these days. WOw. I had my outpatient surgery at St. Agnes, wonderful staff by the way. Dr. Mafi came to see me prior to the surgery, made me feel very comfortable and off to the operating room. I woke up groggy but slept the rest of the day. Honestly, I didn't need any pain medication the next day but my sister forced me to take them anyways. Lol. Yes, I have a very bossy sister. Lol. The following day, I was seen by Dr. Mafi. He checked the breasts, followed up on my medications, advised me what to do and not to do. Saw him again the following week, just to check up on the stitches and see how I was doing. He scolded me for walking too much, since my sister tattletaled on me. Lol, and advised me to rest. Yesterday, Dr. Mafi removed the stitches and when I looked at my breasts, I wanted to cry. He had removed all those ugly scars from the previous butcher job by the other doctor and I swear the current scars are so minimal. I am so so so happy I found Dr. Mafi. He is not only an amazing surgeon, he has amazing bedside manners and truly cares about his patients with utmost compassion. I even observed a few times that he, himself, comes to the waiting room and takes the patient to the visiting room. Seriously, which doctor does that? Dr. Mafi also has wonderful and caring staff working for him. I especially like to thank Mrs. Mafi and Faith for taking such fantastic care of me. Thank you to you all at Mafi plastic surgery center. I couldn't be happier with my surgery and the services.
