Mafi Plastic Surgery Reviews — How to discuss a professional skin-care routine

Which products solve a defined problem without duplicating my routine?

Inventory what you already use

Mafi carries ZO Skin Health, Alastin, Epicutis and Ourself. A brand list is not a diagnosis. Write down your cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen, active products and any prescription treatments; note frequency, irritation and the concern you hope to change. Bring the actual labels or photographs so the provider can identify overlapping ingredients.

Ask for a small, explainable plan

For each proposed product, ask its purpose, ingredient, use with other products, what change to monitor and when to reassess. A treatment plan may require temporarily changing products around a peel, microneedling or laser visit. Do not assume that a “medical-grade” label itself proves better results for your skin than an existing product.

Price the entire routine

Request the cost, size and likely replacement schedule of the items being proposed. Ask which one or two steps matter most if you want to start gradually, and what could be omitted. If a skin concern is painful, persistent or changing, ask whether a diagnostic visit is needed before cosmetic product shopping.

Introduce changes deliberately

Ask how to tell which product is helping or irritating if several are started together. A clear sequence and check-in point make it easier to discuss the routine with a clinician and avoid unnecessary repurchases.

Questions and answers

Must products come from one brand?

No verified requirement says so; ask why each selected item belongs in your routine.

Can I use active products immediately after a procedure?

Ask the treating clinician; timing depends on the procedure and your skin.
